The Telegraph in the UK introduced the Avocado Time Machine to it’s readers in August 2016.
“As well as keeping avocados fresher for longer, it’s hoped the new technology could also help cut down on the globe’s food waste problem. Seven million tonnes of food and drink is thrown away every year from UK household, some of which is still perfectly edible.”
