Whether you are running a sample trial or using Natavo Avocado in regular production, correct thawing and handling is critical to the result.

Watch the video below and follow the steps for your situation.

SAMPLE AND TRIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Trialling Natavo Avocado for the first time?

FOLLOW THESE CRITICAL HANDLING STEPS

  1. Place samples in the freezer immediately upon arrival.
If your samples are not completely frozen on arrival, do not run your trial – dispose of them.
  2. When ready to thaw, remove the avocado from the bag. Do not thaw inside the bag.
  3. Transfer frozen avocado into a covered, non-transparent container. One layer deep only – do not stack or pile.
  4. Thaw in the refrigerator only. Do not thaw at room temperature. Keep away from UV light.
  5. Prepare your menu application while the avocado is still semi-frozen – not fully thawed.
  6. Trial the product in your intended finished dish. In the sushi. In the sandwich. In the salad. No one eats avocado unseasoned – as a minimum, always season with salt and pepper before tasting.
