Trialling Natavo Avocado for the first time?

FOLLOW THESE CRITICAL HANDLING STEPS

  1. Place samples in the freezer immediately upon arrival.
    If your samples are not completely frozen on arrival, do not run your trial – dispose of them.
  2. When ready to thaw, remove the avocado from the bag. Do not thaw inside the bag.
  3. Transfer frozen avocado into a covered, non-transparent container. One layer deep only – do not stack or pile.
  4. Thaw in the refrigerator only. Keep away from UV light.
  5. Prepare your menu application while the avocado is still semi-frozen – not fully thawed.
  6. Trial the product in your intended finished dish. In the sushi. In the sandwich. In the salad.

Using Natavo Avocado for regular use?

FOLLOW THESE CRITICAL HANDLING STEPS

  1. Store product frozen until ready to use.
  2. Remove avocado from the bag before thawing.
  3. Transfer into a covered, non-transparent container. One layer deep.
  4. Thaw in the refrigerator only. Keep away from UV light.
  5. For best results, prepare menu applications while avocado is still semi-frozen.
  6. Allow avocado to thaw fully in situ within the finished application.

APPROXIMATE THAWING TIMES

Slices: 1.5 hours
Diced, Chunks and Wedges: 2 hours
Smashed Avocado: 3 hours
Times vary depending on quantity and refrigeration conditions.
